Contact form Our website offers the possibility to fill in a contact form. With this contact form Van Voorden records and processes the following personal data:

  • Your question or complaint

The tag management system reduces errors and frees Van Voorden from having to involve a developer when configuring tags.

Van Voorden uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies” to help Van Voorden analyse how users use our site. Identification via a personal unique code

Van Voorden’s website may also place cookies when log-in is completed for the first time. This cookie contains a unique code. It will assist you in using the full functionality of the site such as registering for an event you were invited to. Any personal information you provide to Van Voorden via our website is not stored in the cookie, but is kept in the data warehouse behind our site. Your personal information is not transferred to any third party.

Social media buttons

On our website we provide you with buttons in order to share a webpage on social networks such as Twitter and Facebook. Personal data obtained in a different manner

Events of Van Voorden: With regards to registrants of our events, Van Voorden records personal data of interested or invitees who register for our events. These personal data are provided by the invitee or registrants on their own initiative, when they register themselves for the event. From registrants the following data is stored:

  • Name, address and residence details
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address or other electronic communications
  • Gender, date of birth and / or age
  • Specific event information, needed in order to organize the event. Such as seminars which they would like to attend, dietary wishes, etc.

Security and data protection

To protect your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal data, Van Voorden implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures. To prevent misuse of personal data through the website, we have enabled encryption on our website. Through this encryption, the data traffic between you and the webserver is inaccessible for unauthorised parties.

In addition, the entire network infrastructure is scanned for viruses, malware and intrusion attempts. The managing and protection of personal data is based on the internationally recognized security standard ISO 27001. Regular check-ups of Van Voorden’s infrastructure and the security processes are done by independent auditors.

Right to access, addition, correction and deletion You have the right to access your own personal data. You can submit a request to Van Voorden to review which personal data was recorded about you and for what purposes. To verify your identity, we ask you to send a copy of your identity card or driving license. It is advisable to cover the social security number and photograph and write the word ‘copy’ on it.

You have the right to correct, add or remove personal data if it is incorrect, incomplete or processed in violation of a legal provision. To exercise these rights, you can contact info@vanvoorden.com. You will receive a written reply within four weeks.

Data retention

Van Voorden will not store personal data longer than necessary for the purposes of the processing. We will keep the personal information that you provide to us via the contact form as long as necessary to handle your question or complaint.

Personal information provided by job applicants will be stored until four weeks after the application process is ended or one year if the personal data is being stored with the consent of the data subject.

With regards to personal information provided by registrants for events of Van Voorden, until a request for the removal of the data is made or one year after the relationship between data subject and Van Voorden is ceased.

Changes Van Voorden can change the privacy statement at any moment. We will make an announcement of these changes on our website. Older versions of our privacy statement will be stored in our archives.
